A retired Certified Fund Raising Executive, with nearly 30 years extensive background in building philanthropic support through strategic planning, donor-centered identification, cultivation, and stewardship, Brigette Loden is a proven development executive. She is experienced in managing high-visibility campaigns, growing relationships, and delivering results securing philanthropic resources. As a forward-thinking leader skilled at identifying innovative solutions and translating concepts into specific growth strategies for small and large organizations, Brigette has raised in excess of $60mm. At the request of colleagues, Brigette began consulting for non-profit organizations in 2016, and in 2017 became a part-time Executive Director for the newly formed Community Foundation of the Valleys, whose purpose is to “inspire giving in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys” until 2022. In addition she was a volunteer consultant for Executive Service Corps as a leadership coach for a Los Angeles-based nonprofit and a development coach for the Alliance of Women Directors. In Brigette’s past position as Vice President of Development for Providence Health and Services, Southern California Region, she has proven her ability as an adept and persuasive communicator with executives, board members, clinicians, staff, and business partners, as well as her skill in staff management and engagement. During her 16 years at Providence Health and Services, her responsibilities grew from grass-roots fundraising and leadership at one hospital to overseeing estate planning and capital campaigns for five medical centers, hospice programs, a community outreach center, high school, nursing education, etc. throughout Providence’s Southern California Region. Prior to leaving, she restructured their planned giving program and led a regional fundraising resource and consulting team for all of the region’s fundraisers. One of her many successes was securing the largest estate gift of $16 million. Ms. Loden has received numerous awards, including the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” Award in recognition of her not-for-profit leadership and the 2016 Southern California Association of Healthcare Development “Outstanding Leader of the Year.” At a young age, Loden’s family encouraged her to volunteer in fundraising activities. Throughout her life she has enjoyed helping organizations such as the Richstone Family Center, Variety Children’s Charities, the Milken Family Foundation, and Action Family. During her career, she continued her community volunteerism. She was a long-time member of the leadership team and co-leader of Women’s Ministries at her church, served as Board President of Southern California Association of Healthcare Development and chaired their Mentoring Program, and is a past coach for Social Venture Partners’ Fast Pitch program. In addition, she served on the advisory boards of Valley Nonprofit Resources, Building Healthcare for Humanity, and KHTS 1220 AM Radio. Currently, she volunteers with Prescott Area Women’s Connection on their planning team and leads a Bible study. Brigette also serves on a grant committee for the Arizona Community Foundation, and coordinates Pickleball coaches for the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Center. Previously, for three years, she helped children in the Side by Side Reading Program at Abia Judd Elementary School. Ms. Loden enjoys matching dreams with needs to create lasting legacies. She was born in Pasadena and grew up in the Los Angeles County area. In 2018, Brigette and her husband Jay moved to Prescott, Arizona, with their Border Collie, two Golden Retrievers, and a Golden Doodle.
